PRUNING AT TREE HAS TO BE HANDLED WITH A DEGREE OF PRECISION

Pruning

The process of pruning a tree has to be handled with a degree of precision and care on behalf of the tree.

This involves removing both dead (deadwooding) and living branches. The approach to which branches we choose to remove will depend upon variations in size, position, shape, condition and specie of each tree.

Pruning can be used for a number of reasons including safely changing the shape or height of a tree, removing density for better air and light exposure, removing dangerous or competing branches which will impede future growth and even for aesthetic purposes.

The team here at Letham Tree Services will communicate the most effective solutions for the welfare of your trees and gardening environment in relation to pruning and help you to understand the reasoning for each cut.
